Finding a career or job is so hard these days specially if you are an undergraduate student like me. With so little job opportunities and thousand of people who competes for just a few spots in a company.
Thank god we have call centers ( sometimes referred as BPO Business Process Outsource/Outsourcing) in our country right now. In fact, there are a lot of them now.
But sadly, many people who have a degree sometimes discriminate those who are working in a call center ( well I personally experienced it ).
Why is it happening?
It's simple. Because majority in this field accepts undergraduates. All you need to have is the skills and of course you have to be English proficient( specially in speaking ).
But there are things that those people doesn't know about the call center industry. One of them is that, this growing industry provides millions if not billions of pesos for the economy each year and of course provides thousand of jobs every year and most importantly many people is not aware that this job is not an east job. In reality it is hard.
Well, we can't ignore the truth that this industry is still the brightest part in our country right now. It is still growing and will be here for many more years to come. Without this industry, our country will be having much more problems with the employment of millions of it's people.
