Unfair Marketing: Globe's Unlitext Service is not really unlimited

What is the term unlimited means to you?

Of course it means that you can use that thing as many times as you wanted right.

Well, I think that is not the same with Globe Telecom's Unlitext service.

Yesterday I tried to register in that service but instead of the confirmation message that I will be receiving, this is the one that I received:

" Your number has been detected to be sending a high volume of text messages. As a precaution, your Unlitxt/ Supertxt registration is blocked.  You may retry on Feb. 2, 2011 05:50 PM".

What The hell is this???

The main reason why I'm using Globe's services is because of their unlimited texting service. But what is this. Guys clearly this is a trickery on the part of that big telecom company. The mere fact that they are having a service like unlimited texting service, they should be giving out that service with out any hidden terms of use. This is pure trickery. Unlimited service should be unlimited regardless if you are sending millions of text messages in an hour. That is why it is called unlimited right. Even a grade school kid can understand the meaning of the word UNLIMITED.

Globe may have a better reception than Sun cellular but here's the point, Sun Cellular's Unlimited service is really unlimited. Well, I will not hesitate now to shift from Globe to Sun Cellur because Sun is more honest compared to Globe.

It is very clear that even though globe is benefiting  with their customers they still have the guts to try and trick us.

Only in the Philippines. Only in the Philippines where you can see an unlimited service that is not really unlimited.

This practice of Globe Telecom is really a simple practice of Unfair Marketing.

Globe should give us the services that they are giving out. Without any hidden terms or rules. 

Because we as consumers, we are paying them and they need us to gain revenue.

We are paying but we are not getting what we really need. We really can't have the value for our money in this kind of service.
